Anasazi Foundation
ANASAZI Foundation is founded upon tried and true principles and methods. The founders of ANASAZI have more than 40 years of experience serving at-risk youth in outdoor survival settings.
ANASAZI is a non-profit organization serving youth 12-17 and young adults 18+ years old with substance abuse and emotional and behavioral concerns. ANASAZI is licensed by the Arizona Department of Health Services, Office of Behavioral Health and the Department of Economic Security, Administration for Children Youth and Families. ANASAZI is accredited nationally by Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (Joint Commission) and the Council on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children (COA).
Catherine Freer Wilderness Therapy Programs
For more than 20 years we have been leading troubled teens on wilderness youth program therapy expeditions in Oregon. We have watched as teens arrive at our door sullen, withdrawn, angry at their parents, and frequently hung-over from the party they were at the night before. We have seen these teenagers benefit from the physical activity that comes with participating in our wilderness therapy program. We have seen these teenagers who think they’ve got it all handled – the partying, the angry outbursts, the disrespect to authority figures, the underachievement at school, the computer use, their sex life – sit around a campfire in a high-alpine meadow and begin to see that maybe they have been making some pretty bad choices. They begin to see that maybe it is time to make some changes and our therapist and counselors are there to support them and help facilitate the change. And, we have outcome research that indicates that wilderness therapy effective in helping troubled teens.
Mountain Homes Youth Ranch
At the MOUNTAIN HOMES YOUTH RANCH, children can find themselves again through reestablishing important basic principles of behavior in their lives. They will learn to view themselves, their surroundings, and others in a new and different perspective; one in which they will see themselves as valued and meaningful contributors.
OMNI Youth Services
OMNI Youth Services is the largest and most comprehensive youth development organization serving the needs of Chicago’s northwest suburbs. We don’t only focus on resolving existing problems, but pursue the development of skills for life.

Open Sky Wilderness Therapy
Open Sky’s team is comprised of the most experienced, dedicated, and well-trained professionals in the field of wilderness therapy. Open Sky’s leadership team has accumulated more than 100 years of experience in wilderness therapy. Seven of the nine co-owners worked from the ground up beginning as field guides over a decade ago. Open Sky is the only wilderness therapy program that has an entire department devoted to health and wellness and a research director conducting outcome research to guide us in being the most effective program possible.
Redcliff Ascent
After a 15 years of operation and many years of research and progress, RedCliff’s Wilderness Therapy Program has developed into one of the most recognized programs in the country. RedCliff is located in the beautiful red rock and high desert terrain of Southern Utah and covers an area of 650 square miles.
When RedCliff was founded in 1993, wilderness therapy programs were considered a relatively new treatment model. However, over the past eleven years, wilderness therapy has progressed to the status of a very popular treatment model for troubled teenagers. RedCliff has been a leader in the development of the industry. Participating not only in the development of operational standards for the state of Utah, but also with a national co-op of programs all sharing ideas for the betterment of the industry.
Santiam Crossing
Located in the foothill’s of Oregon’s Cascade Mountains, our therapeutic boarding school provides families with a treatment option that is less than one year in length, therapeutically intensive, and that enables students to catch up academically.
Second Nature Cascades

Second Nature Entrada
Second Nature Entrada for Adults is a leader in Wilderness Therapy Programs for adults due to its intense clinical focus and high level of personalized service to each client. Every encounter, assignment, and activity a client experiences has purpose and intention. Second Nature Entrada for Adults is a wilderness therapy program that provides individualized therapy, and experiential education to highlight choices and consequences, guiding clients toward healthy, long-term ambitions. Soltreks
Established in 1997, Soltreks was founded by Lorri Hanna and Douglas Sabo who noticed students being “missed”, “lost”, or “hidden” within therapeutic and wilderness programs. With group sizes traditionally of 10-15 students, it became clear to Lorri and Doug that individuals needed a more personal approach toward healing their relationships and themselves.
They developed a program unlike others offering One-on-One treks and named the program Soltreks—the one (solo) trek for the soul—with the intent on making a difference in the lives of children, young adults, and families.
Summit Achievement
Summit Achievement is a fully licensed residential treatment center located in the White Mountains region of Maine. Through the process of engaging therapy, classroom academics and challenging wilderness expeditions, students learn to accept responsibility for personal decisions and past behaviors, address individual and family issues, and become invested in their future. Summit’s innovative program provides treatment options to adolescent boys and girls ages 13 to 19.
Wendigo Lake Expeditions: REACH
Using evidence-based practices within an adventure therapy program design, Wendigo Lake operates licensed and accredited residential programs for male youth-at-risk ages 13-18. Key features of our residential programs include frequent wilderness expeditions; and on-site school program that helps students catch up on credits; and individual, family, and group counselling by Masters level therapists integrated into an intensive, individualized therapeutic program.
